• Cost: Free. The live demo and masala chai are on us, food is available to buy if you're hungry.

What's happening

Join our founder Vihangi for a live cooking demo of the everyday street foods of Gujarat and beyond, think Vada Pav, Dabeli, Sev Puri and a proper cup of Masala Chai. These are the dishes that have fed communities back home for generations, and now they're right here in West Auckland.

A story worth sharing

This one is close to our heart. It's the story of a Gujarati migrant carrying the tastes of home across the world, and turning a personal passion into a little community institution in New Lynn. Come taste it, learn about it, and share in flavours that bridge two worlds.

All dietary preferences are welcome, and everything we make is 100% pure vegetarian with Jain and Swaminarayan options. Bring the family, bring your friends, and come say namaste.
